Norwegian Jewel (NCL) - Entrance of the Stardust Theatre

Stardust Theatre on Decks 5 to 7 on board the cruise ship Norwegian Jewel of Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)

The Norwegian Jewel is a cruise ship of the Norwegian Cruise Line and has its own theatre, the Stardust Theatre. It is the largest event space on board the ship and has a height of 3 decks (decks 5 to 7) in the bow of the ship. A total of up to 1,037 guests can be seated here. The theatre is equipped with state-of-the-art stage technology and offers a wide range of entertainment, including Broadway-style productions, live music, comedy shows, magic and acrobatic performances. The stage is very large and offers the artists sufficient space for their performances. A specially tuned lighting and sound system ensures that the various performances are shown off to great effect.

During our trip, Stardust Theater on Norwegian Jewel hosted the following shows:

- International Jewel Crew Talent Show
- Local Folkloric Show with "Gruppo FolkloricoNaxos" (Sicilian Folklore)
- The Second City (sketches, songs & improvisations)
- Star Seeker Show (talent show of fellow travellers)
- Gossamer Magic (magician)
- "Band On The Run with the Jean Ann Ryan Company (music of the 70s)
- Cirque Bijou with the Jean Ann Ryan Company (dance, ballet and acrobats; by far the best show of this trip for us)
- The Evolution of Manipulation "Edge" (comedians)

Except for the talent shows, most shows took place twice in the evening. By starting at 8pm and 10pm, the different preferences in dinner time are taken into account. In addition, the theatre served as a gathering point for passengers who had booked an organised shore excursion. This is where the registration of the participants and the distribution to the different tour buses takes place.
